Our day trip to Rotterdam was thrilling, yet dominated by a particularly cold weather front. Glad we had the proper winter clothes in our backpack.
Rotterdam is a very urban city, with about 1 million inhabitants, many students and many people with a migrant background, whoch makes for a very vibrant, lively culture, also in the restaurants: many with Surinam, eastern or middle eastern menus. The architecture is simply stunning.
